Hospice
December 5, 2013 in Lymphoma by Reta Reed
Jeff was moved to Community Hospice yesterday evening. He has been resting comfortably and stirring only briefly. Of course, he has had constant attention and visitors today. Both of us are in a good place. I believe he is well taken care of and is not suffering, and I continue to receive caring support from all our loved ones and hospice staff.
A celebration is being planned. No somber ceremonies for our Jeff!
I just hope Jeff somehow knows how many people are thinking of him. As much love for Reta and Jeff and his kids as possible from us. GLP everyone has been praying for him. Jeff has pulled the good people together at GLP, compassion for him is so strong. Man I wish we could all take a trip down there and walk into his room at once, hold hands over him and say a prayer. Comfort him for a minute. But I know Reta is doing just that.
Reta thanks for keeping us updated im sure we get annoying at times. Here you are dealing with this and you have all us internet geeks to update lol. What an amazing strength you have.
All of us at GLP are keeping Jeff in our prayers. May God comfort you during this difficult time.
His memory and deeds will live on forever.
Reta, I am glad to read that Jeff is resting comfortably, and that you and Jeff have the support of hospice workers; some of them are true angels on Earth! <3 Love and support from my family to yours.
