Out a day early
June 1, 2013 in Lymphoma by Jeffry Reed
Blood results were good enough I got to get out a day early so I”m home already. Got home just after noon today.
I’m very tired. That’s all. Just tired. I’m supposed to eat protein, drink lots of water and get rest. I’m here with Travis…..we are doing ok. I’m able to take care of him and have about 10 people I can call if I need help so we are o.k. We are watching Spongebob and Gumball and laughing…Gumball is one of the funniest cartoons I’ve ever seen. Reta and the girls are still at A-Kon and sounds like Reta is actually entertained and surviving out of her element. The girls sound like they are having a blast so that’s good.
This course of chemo is due to hit in about 7 days and not sure how it’s going to affect me. But I have number 2 under my belt and 6 more to go.
I cannot stress how much I want this over and to get back to work. It’s driving me insane. I miss everybody and I miss fixing things. I didn’t realize just how much satisfaction I got out of actually making things work and making people happy their stuff was fixed.
Funny how life throws you curve balls……I’m gonna whup this thing and get back to my life.
Well your missed in soo many ways we hope you get better and count down the day all the comps work again we have lost so much info and even emails here at fwsw well me and tammy any way. I look forward to reading your updates and am so glad things look positive in your eyes, even at your sickest please remember you have sooooo many people routing for you and hoping and praying for your quick and safe return. Stay Blessed in all you have and all you are and return to us soon.

Awesome motivational blog there Jeff. I get your frustration with not being able to work etc. As much as people complain about work it actually makes us feel fulfilled.
Salvation is in a great days work and feeling good about it.
Im glad your home at least and comfortable.
I have no idea if you are able to move around and stuff and im sure the doctors tell you whats best for you. But if your able to exercise at all or go for walks and stuff that might help lift your spirits man.
But like I said Im no expert.

Glad to hear you are home and I hope you start feeling better real soon. I know you can beat this because you have the right attitude and positive thinking is everything. I miss you lots and think about you often but there were days when I didn’t want to see or talk to anyone when I was sick so I’m afraid I might be bothering you. I’ll call you soon and if you’re not up to talking just tell me.
Glad your doing “OK”… deff miss you at work. I already have a list for you.. JK! Wish you the best- get to feelin’ better, we need you around here!!
I was listening to my “oldies but goodies” station & thought of how much you enjoyed listening with me last time you were here at the office fixing my computer. Give it a listen while your homebound it will lift your spirits! Thinking of you daily!:)
Otis Redding-Sitting on the dock of the bay…….it sure helps listening to that.
I am waiting for you post about all the Lifetime movies you have been watching! O_o Court TV isn’t bad either…Judge Judy, Judge Mathis, People’s Court…those always seem to make my days that I was sick better. Miss you around & about, I will be happy the day you come back. Not because I will need something in the office, but because it will be normal again. Remember my card…drink plenty of fluids!!! Miss you but love you more!!!
Two down –two more that will never return–Glad you are home–Hope the rebound from the chemo is not too tough. We miss you, well some of them do!!! ha Take care and hang tough . dl
